The 7Q-Foundation was founded by Hafsa Salahuddin, a change-maker and mother based in Virginia who was inspired by the stories of real-life families navigating neurodiverse needs such as the family of Zidan Ali, who was born with chromosome 7Q deletion, a genetic condition that the foundation was named after.
With families searching near and far for services and programs that could support the well-being and joy of their loved ones with disabilities and unique needs, the goal of the 7Q-Foundation was to reduce some of the load for these families by featuring services and programs that provide tailored and/or specialized support to meet their needs, all in one online community space.
The 7Q Foundation is growing to be a one-stop-shop for families and individuals looking for specialized services and enrichment while also propelling education around less traditional services like executive function coaching. It has launched its provider database through Diverrx (where B-Empowered EFC is featured), a homeschool Co-Op for families called myT.R.I.B.E. and hosts a variety of events in the DC-Maryland-Virginia area to connect educators, service providers and families in the area.
Executive Function, academic and social-emotional support services through B-Empowered EFC is offered at a discount for children aged 6-17 when you book initially through the 7Q-Foundation's database for service providers, Diverrx.
